Academic Requirements

Grade 9 to Grade 12

  • A minimum academic standing of 75% in the most recent two school years
  • Two recommendation letters from current or previous schools

Accelerated Program 

Pre-U Program

  • A minimum academic standing of 85% in the most recent two school years
  • Two recommendation letters from current or previous schools
  • TOEFL iBT score of 90 or above or IELTS score of 5.5

Standard application package:

REIA accepts applications all year round.

To apply you need the following:

REIA Standard Application Package

  1. Signed and dated REIA application form
  2. Official school transcripts for the most recent two school years (translated in English and notarized if documents are not originally in English)
  3. Two recommendation letters from teachers (translated copy in English)
  4. Immunization records (translated copy in English)
  5. Photocopy of passport

Admission Process

  1. Upon receipt of these documents, your application will be reviewed. If you are accepted to study at Royal Elite International Academy, the school will issue you a Letter of Admission
  2. Upon a first payment, Official Letter of Acceptance will be issued
  3. Once you have received an Official Letter of Acceptance, please apply to the nearest Canadian Embassy or Consulate for Student Authorization to study in Canada and a student visa
  4. For international students under 18 years of age, a signed Custodianship Declaration Form must be completed by the parents or legal guardians. Please click here to download a copy of the Custodianship Declaration Form
  5. Important: The originals of all documents submitted during the application/admission process need to be presented to the Admissions Officer the first day of classes

International students are advised to apply as early as possible as obtaining a student visa at the nearest Canadian Embassy or Canadian Consulate in their home country can sometimes take a few weeks or even months in some countries.

Payments can be made by:

  • Certified Cheques or bank drafts payable to Royal Elite International Academy.
  • Bank wire transfer (requires additional $30 bank fee).

Placement Assessment

All students admitted to REIA will take the placement assessments in English and Mathematics upon arrival. The prior-learning assessment will determine each student’s English language ability and mathematics skills and guide staff in selecting courses that will best suit the student's abilities and education goals.


Transcripts

The Ontario Student Transcript (OST) is the official record of a student’s academic achievement at the secondary school level in the province of Ontario. Transcripts are required for post-secondary institutions and may be required for many other reasons. To request your Ontario Student Transcript, please contact our Admissions Department with your request and allow 2 business days for processing.
